Lempuyang Agung Penataran Temple is a temple located on the slopes of Lempuyang Mountain in Karangasem, Bali. Lempuyang Agung Penataran Temple is considered part of the temple complex around Mount Lempuyang, one of the most respected temple in Bali. Pretending to be on the Mount Lempuyang, represented by the highest temple on the summit of Mount Lempuyang, Lempuyang Luhur Temple, is one of the Sad Kahyangan Jagad, or “six holy places of the world”, the six most sacred shrines in Bali.
